Waldo Junqueira Franco, a Monty Roberts certified instructor, and his wife Bia are together spreading Monty Roberts’ teachings throughout Brazil, through official courses of Monty’s methods. They also introduce a few horses each year through gentle breaking, using Monty’s methods.
Specializing in Monty Roberts’ methods, WB Horsemanship brings you horse teaching and training based on partnership and connection with the horse, through communication using the equus language (the horse’s natural gesture language) and, most importantly, applying kindness and creating a partnership of respect and trust between man and horse.
WB Horsemanship was responsible for bringing Monty Roberts to Brazil for the Festa do Peão de Barretos in 2023, together with Clube dos Independentes. During his brief visit to Brazil, Monty and his team of certified instructors spent a pleasant day at the WB Horsemanship farm, holding a private clinic and demonstrating his techniques for Waldo, Bia and guests.

Monty Roberts’ Module 1 introduces Equus and the use of the Dually® Halter to build non-violent partnerships with horses. It covers topics such as equine psychology and prepares for advanced courses.
In Module 2, learn to see the world as your horse does, using Equus and Monty Roberts’ Join-Up® technique to build a partnership based on trust. It covers equine psychology, the use of the Dually® Halter, and communication techniques.
In Module 3, discover the benefits of reining for training horses. Learn how to adjust the Dually® Halter, the balance point, and the skills required. Prepare your horse for the saddle and reins, and more.
This module is the final prerequisite for acceptance to take the Introductory Exams and cannot be taken as a stand-alone module or before completion of the other 3 modules.
